Tori Davis, ("Tori Steel" since recently getting married) AKA
"Tori Cat"- or "The LEGO Lady" is an art director and concept artist with over 15 years experience working in feature animation, TV, commercials and video games around the world.
Her work can be seen in hit movies such as Rio and Frankenweenie but she is most recognised for her work at LEGO.
She was an animation art director on The LEGO Movie 2, the LEGO Friends TV series, LEGO Vidiyo and other Top Secret projects at The LEGO Group, in Denmark.
Tori still continues to work for The LEGO Group, but as a freelancer now, so she can devote time to other projects she loves.
Tori works with Revolution Software. She has a long standing, passionate relationship with them, since working with them back in 2012 on the Video Game Series Broken Sword. She has since returned to help assist in the Art Direction and Background production of Broken Sword Reforged.
In late 2018 Tori Left The LEGO group HQ in Denmark to the return to the UK, where she established her own company "Tori Cat", giving her the opportunity to pursue her passion of working with children.
she has developed her own LEGO Animation Play Therapy programme, which she delivers for children in hospitals, schools, animation festivals, workshops and private one to one classes.
In 2023 she ran workshops in Kolkata, India where she worked with 'Future Hope' charity to provide workshops for Children living in the Streets and Slums.
Her First illustrated children's book,
was published in Feb 2023.
Since becoming a Mum is June 2024, Tori's life has flipped on it's head. She now has a beautiful baby boy who is always by her side and her new sidekick.
Tori Loves Nature and Animals. She has a pet house Bunny and two dogs who are her world.
when she is not working, she loves to be outside, where You'll always find her walking for miles with her dogs.
